Join the Stingrays for 2026/27
Registration is open. Our first club night is Friday 9 October 2026, and new swimmers are welcome any time during the season.
What your fees include
Fees for all swimmers aged 17 and under are fully inclusive, with nothing extra to pay for merchandise that is often charged on top.
- Swimming Australia, Swimming Queensland and Brisbane Swimming fees
- Samford Stingrays Swim Club membership
- 17 club nights, the Bronte Barratt Shield carnival and Club Championship day
- End-of-season perpetual trophy, with an engraved plate added for every season of membership
- A swimming cap each season for every swimmer
- Our club towel, the official merchandise item for season 26/27
- Season 5 members receive a club swim jacket, and Season 10 members a special trophy for loyalty and dedication
There may be a fee at the committee's discretion if the Bronte Barratt Shield is a sanctioned event. We are a PlayOn! provider, so you can use your PlayOn! vouchers with us.

- Memberships run from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. Age is as of 1 June 2026.
- All payments are made online through the Swim Central membership portal by debit, Visa or Mastercard. Administration fees apply.
- A 15% volume discount on the club component applies to any transaction with three or more paying memberships from the same family, paid together. The discounted price appears in your Swim Central cart.
How to register
New members
- Go to Swim Central.
- Select Register, then enter your email address and a password.
- Verify your email using the confirmation link sent to you.
- Log in and work through the Get Started with Swim Central checklist.
- Complete your profile and add emergency contacts.
- Create a profile for each child who will swim for the Stingrays.
- Go to Store, then Memberships. Search "Samford" and select Samford ASC Inc.
- Choose the right membership type for each family member, add to cart, and complete payment.
- Email your child's birth certificate to registrar@samfordswimclub.com.au, or bring it to be sighted at your first club night.
- Nominate for races each week in the Swim Club Connect app.

Existing members, renewing
Swimming Queensland will have emailed every existing member an invitation to renew. Look for the "Welcome to Swim Central" email.
- Log in to Swim Central. If you have forgotten your details, use Forgot Password.
- Select Store, then Memberships.
- Search "Samford" and select Samford ASC Inc.
- Choose the right membership type for each family member and add to cart.
- Check out, and double-check the membership type for each person. Add yourself as a free parent or spectator member.
- Agree to the terms and conditions and select Buy Now.
- Nominate for races each week in the Swim Club Connect app.

Transferring from another club
If your swimmer is or was registered with another club, email registrar@samfordswimclub.com.au to arrange the transfer. A transfer fee applies if a swimmer transfers during a season.

Download the Swim Club Connect app to nominate and see results. Join our private Samford Stingrays Current Members Facebook group and watch your inbox for the weekly racing email.
Second swimmer membership
For swimmers registered with another competitive club who want to join Samford club nights for fun. Second swimmers do not earn club points and are not eligible for championship medals. They may break pool records but not club records.
They receive any merchandise for their years of membership and a club perpetual trophy, with an engraved plate for every year. The fee is $124.00, which excludes the Swimming Australia, Swimming Queensland and Brisbane Swimming fees already paid through the other club. Email registrar@samfordswimclub.com.au to arrange it.
Club merchandise
Our custom-designed merchandise shines in and out of the pool. These items can be bought any time through Swim Central:
- Club towel $25.00
- Additional club swim cap $15.00
A 3% transaction fee applies to merchandise bought through Swim Central. Club swim jackets are earned by Season 5 members and cannot be bought.
